Divorce Concentration:

  • single-mindedness; avoidance of non-virtuous deeds, concentration refers to the control of the mind, and wisdom refers to the development of insight into the nature of reality.

This is what it’s all about.  You KNOW what you have to do, and now you must DO IT! You have the ability to control your thoughts, your actions, and to advance your knowledge of all things good.

There are so many resources out there (ahem you’re reading one!) to guide you to being the mindful, beautiful YOU!  You cannot let anyone get in the way of this process.  There will be friends who are telling you to “get him/her for all he/she is worth” or family members who want to “see that cheating (bad word) go down!” or attorneys who advise you to litigate when there are more peaceful options available.

Do not lose sight of the end result.  You want to move past this- you do not want to live in "divorce-land" forever.  The key is to awaken and listen to that little voice in your head encouraging you to do the right thing.  The right thing is to be kind and bless the ones who have done you wrong.  You should do this not because you have to, but because you want to.
